Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: August 18, 2026
Last Updated: August 27, 2026
Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern requests for and use of services provided by I Handle It (“I Handle It,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By submitting a task request, approving a quote, making payment, or allowing us to begin a service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our Service
I Handle It is a personal concierge and task-assistance service.
Customers may request help with ordinary lawful tasks such as package returns, store pickups, waiting for deliveries or service providers, household errands, grocery or household-item pickups, and home-arrival preparation.
Every request is subject to our acceptance. Submitting a request does not require I Handle It to perform it. We may decline or cancel any request that we reasonably believe is unsafe, unlawful, outside the scope of our service, requires a license or authorization we do not possess, presents unreasonable risk, or is otherwise inappropriate for us to perform.
2. Quotes and Payment
Pricing is based on factors that may include time, travel distance, complexity, scheduling, required purchases and other circumstances related to the task.
Unless otherwise stated, the customer will receive and approve a price before the service begins.
Additional work that was not reasonably included in the original request may result in an additional charge. Whenever reasonably possible, we will obtain the customer's approval before performing material additional work.
Third-party expenses such as merchandise, groceries, parking, tolls, shipping fees, admission charges or other purchases made specifically for a customer's task are the customer's responsibility unless expressly included in the quoted price. Receipts will be provided for reimbursable purchases when available.
3. Customer Authorization
The customer represents that they have the legal authority to request the service.
When a task involves a home, condominium, vehicle, package, account, item or other property, the customer represents that they own the property or have permission from the owner or authorized party to request the service.
Customers may not use I Handle It to gain unauthorized access to property, information, accounts or another person's belongings. We may request identification or other reasonable confirmation of authorization.
4. Property Access
If a customer authorizes us to enter a residence or other property, the customer is responsible for providing lawful access and any necessary instructions.
We will only enter property when reasonably necessary to perform the authorized task. I Handle It will not knowingly enter property without authorization.
The customer must disclose known hazards, dangerous animals, unsafe conditions, alarm systems or other circumstances that could reasonably affect the safe performance of the task.
5. Prohibited Requests
I Handle It will not knowingly perform a task involving illegal activity. We reserve the right to refuse requests involving, including but not limited to:
- Illegal drugs or contraband
- Controlled substances
- Firearms, ammunition, explosives, or weapons
- Hazardous or dangerous materials
- Stolen property or counterfeit goods
- Alcohol or tobacco purchasing, sales or delivery
- Money laundering, cash transfers, or check cashing
- Banking, gambling, or fraud transactions
- Identity theft, impersonation, trespassing, stalking, or harassment
- Unauthorized surveillance or obtaining confidential information through deception
- Escort or sexual services
- Any request intended to violate another person's rights
This list is not exhaustive. I Handle It may decline any request at its sole reasonable discretion.
6. Regulated and Professional Services
I Handle It is not a law firm, medical provider, home-health agency, financial institution, investment adviser, security company or emergency-response provider.
We do not provide: medical care, medical advice, nursing services, administration of medications, emergency medical transportation, legal advice, financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, accounting advice, professional counseling, childcare, babysitting, passenger transportation, security services, or notarial acts unless performed by a properly commissioned notary. We also do not perform services requiring a professional or occupational license that we do not hold.
We will not sign contracts, legal documents, affidavits, releases, financial documents or similar instruments in place of a customer unless a specific lawful authorization exists and we have expressly agreed in writing to do so.
7. Prescription Medication
I Handle It does not provide medical services and does not purchase, transport or deliver controlled substances. Requests involving prescription medications may be declined. Customers should use the pharmacy's authorized pickup or delivery procedures for prescription medications.
8. Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Age-Restricted Products
At launch, I Handle It does not purchase, sell, deliver or transport alcoholic beverages, tobacco, nicotine products or other age-restricted regulated products on behalf of customers. This restriction may remain in place even when the customer is legally old enough to purchase the item.
9. Children and Vulnerable Persons
I Handle It is not a childcare, babysitting, nursing, home-health or caregiving service. We do not accept responsibility for supervising children or dependent adults.
A task involving a residence where a child or dependent person is present may be declined if performing the task would reasonably place that person in our care or supervision.
10. Transportation
I Handle It is not a taxi, limousine, rideshare or passenger-transportation service. We do not transport customers or other passengers as part of our standard service.
Any future service involving operation or transportation of a customer's vehicle will only be offered if expressly accepted by I Handle It and subject to applicable insurance, authorization and legal requirements.
11. Purchases Made for Customers
When we agree to purchase goods for a customer, the customer authorizes the specific purchase up to the amount approved. We may require advance payment before making purchases.
I Handle It is not the manufacturer or seller of third-party products and is not responsible for product defects, recalls, warranties, merchant return policies or the quality of products sold by third parties. We will make reasonable efforts to purchase the item requested by the customer.
12. Returns
When a customer asks us to return an item, the customer is responsible for confirming that the item is eligible for return.
We do not guarantee that a merchant, carrier or other third party will accept an item, issue a refund, honor a return window or provide a particular refund amount. Our service fee compensates us for performing the requested task and is separate from any refund that may or may not be issued by the merchant.
13. Third-Party Providers
Some tasks may involve interaction with third parties such as delivery companies, retailers, repair technicians, contractors, building staff or service providers.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, those businesses and individuals are independent third parties. I Handle It is not responsible for the quality, timeliness, pricing, conduct or work of an independent third-party service provider merely because we waited for, communicated with or provided access to that provider at the customer's request.
14. Timing
Any estimated arrival or completion time is an estimate unless expressly guaranteed in writing. Traffic, weather, merchant delays, delivery windows, third-party service providers, building access and other circumstances may affect timing.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify customers of material delays.
15. Cancellation & Rescheduling
We understand that plans can change.
Confirmed requests may be cancelled or rescheduled at no charge when at least 24 hours’ notice is provided before the scheduled start time.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time may be subject to a fee of up to 50% of the service charge, depending on preparation, travel, staffing, purchases, reservations, or work already committed.
If I Handle It is already en route, has arrived at the service location, or work has begun, the service charge may be non-refundable.
Same-day and urgent requests may become non-refundable once confirmed if time has been reserved, travel has begun, purchases have been made, or other costs have been committed.
Any third-party costs, purchases, deposits, tickets, parking, tolls, reservations, delivery fees, or other non-refundable expenses already incurred on the client’s behalf remain the client’s responsibility regardless of cancellation.
If I Handle It arrives as scheduled but cannot perform the service because access is unavailable, the client or required third party is not present, instructions are incomplete, authorization has not been provided, or the service cannot proceed for reasons outside of I Handle It’s control, the request may be treated as completed for cancellation purposes and the applicable service fee may remain due.
Rescheduled requests are subject to availability. Pricing may change if the new date, time, location, urgency, scope of work, travel requirements, or service requirements are different from the original request.
If I Handle It cancels a confirmed request and cannot provide a reasonable alternative, any prepaid service fee relating to the unperformed portion of the service will be refunded.
Any refund under this policy applies only to eligible I Handle It service fees and does not include non-refundable third-party expenses already incurred on the client’s behalf.
16. Customer Property
We will exercise reasonable care when handling customer property. Customers should not provide unusually valuable, irreplaceable or sentimental property unless we have expressly agreed to handle it.
Customers should disclose unusual value before a task begins. I Handle It may decline tasks involving jewelry, large amounts of cash, negotiable instruments, collectibles, precious metals, gemstones, high-value artwork or other unusually valuable property.
17. Photos and Updates
When appropriate, I Handle It may provide photographs, text messages, receipts or other updates documenting performance of a task.
Customers authorize us to take photographs reasonably necessary to document completion, condition or delivery of a task. We will not intentionally use photographs of the interior of a customer's private residence for advertising without separate permission.
18. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to: provide accurate information, provide a safe environment, disclose known hazards, provide lawful access, give accurate pickup and delivery instructions, be reachable when reasonably necessary, pay approved fees and expenses, not request illegal or unauthorized activity, not misrepresent ownership or authorization, and treat I Handle It personnel respectfully.
19. Right to Stop a Task
If circumstances discovered during a task make the request unsafe, illegal, materially different from what was described, or outside the reasonable scope of the service, we may stop the task. We will attempt to notify the customer when reasonably possible.
The customer remains responsible for work already performed and expenses reasonably incurred.
20. Emergencies
I Handle It is not an emergency service. Do not use I Handle It for medical, fire, police, safety or other emergencies. In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I Handle It's liability arising from a particular service will be limited to the amount paid to I Handle It for that service, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.
I Handle It will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages to the extent such exclusions are permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms is intended to eliminate liability that cannot legally be waived or limited.
22. No Guarantee of Third-Party Outcomes
I Handle It guarantees only that we will make reasonable efforts to perform an accepted task as agreed. We cannot guarantee decisions or outcomes controlled by third parties, including whether a store accepts a return, whether a refund is issued, when a technician arrives, whether merchandise is available, whether a delivery arrives on time, or whether a third-party provider successfully completes its work.
23. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, the customer agrees to indemnify and hold I Handle It harmless from claims, losses or expenses resulting from materially false information, lack of authorization, unlawful instructions, undisclosed hazards or the customer's violation of these Terms.
24. Communications
By providing a phone number or email address in connection with a service request, the customer authorizes I Handle It to contact them regarding that request, pricing, scheduling, payment and completion.
Marketing communications will be handled separately and are not a condition of purchasing services.
24a. SMS Communications
By providing a mobile phone number and opting in to text communications, you consent to receive service-related text messages from I Handle It regarding requests, scheduling, payments, updates, and completion. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Marketing messages will only be sent where separate consent has been provided.
25. Privacy
Customer information will be used primarily to communicate with the customer and perform requested services. Additional information regarding collection and use of personal information should be addressed in the I Handle It Privacy Policy.
26. Florida Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
27. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. The version posted on our website at the time a task is accepted will generally apply to that task.
28. Severability
If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
29. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the accepted task description, approved quote and any additional written agreement, constitute the agreement regarding the applicable service.
